Who is responsible for your data

leapfroq (a Dutch sole proprietorship, eenmanszaak), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42011967, is the controller for the personal data described here. What we collect, and why

• Contact form: your name, the topic you selected, your email, and (if you add them) your phone number and message, used to reply to you. Basis: your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us.
• Fit Check: your name, company name, email and/or phone number, your answers to the five Fit Check questions, and whether you agreed to be contacted about the results. Used to work out which of our services fits and to send you that result. Basis: consent.
• Automatically, on submission: your IP address, processed briefly to prevent spam (rate limiting) and, when our bot-check is active, shared with Cloudflare to confirm you're not a bot. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

How long we keep it

Form submissions reach us by email and are kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry and any relationship that follows. That is generally no more than 2 years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer (Dutch tax law can require keeping financial correspondence for 7 years). IP addresses used for rate limiting live in server memory for a few minutes only and are never stored in a database.

Who we share it with

A small number of service providers help run this site. Each one receives only what it needs for its task, under a data processing agreement.

• Vercel (hosting). Vercel Inc. hosts the website and runs the code behind the forms. That code runs in Vercel's Frankfurt region; the pages themselves are delivered from Vercel's network worldwide. Vercel keeps short-lived request logs that include your IP address. Vercel is a US company; transfers are covered by its Data Processing Addendum with EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Our email provider. To send and receive the mail our forms generate.
• Cloudflare (bot check). For bot and spam protection on the forms, when active. That can involve your IP address being processed outside the EU/EEA under Cloudflare's GDPR safeguards (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Vercel Web Analytics (visitor statistics). Vercel also counts visits, without cookies. It derives a temporary hash from your IP address and browser details to tell one visit from another, discards that hash within 24 hours, and stores nothing on your device. We see page counts and countries, never who you are.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else for marketing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or hand it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@leapfroq.nl to use any of these. Unhappy with our answer? You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We use standard technical measures, including encrypted (TLS) email transport, and keep what we collect and store to what's actually needed.
